DESCRIPTION
RESBUILD CRYSTALLINE C is a Crystalline Waterproofing Admixture with Hydrophobic Properties. RESBUILD CRYSTALLINE C comes in powder form, which is added to concrete during mixing. It conforms to IS 2645 - 2003. It complies to EN 480-8, EN 480-10, EN 480-12, EN 12350-7, EN 12390-3, EN 480-1, EN 480-5. This type of admixture is designed to significantly enhance concrete durability. It works by using a chemical reaction to grow insoluble crystals within the concrete pores and capillary tracts. This action is responsible for the increased active crack healing (sealing cracks up to a certain extent) and the resulting reduced chloride ion migration by blocking pathways for water and corrosive substances. By reducing water absorption and permeability, the RESBUILD CRYSTALLINE C also improves frost resistance and resistance to thaw damage. The claim of corrosion inhibiting effect is a direct result of blocking water and chloride ions from reaching the reinforcing steel. It is certified for use in potable water reservoirs and tanks, confirming its non-toxicity and resistance to microbiological growth.
